“If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”
Hannah is a warm and compassionate Clinical Psychologist Registrar who provides assessment and treatment for a range of difficulties in children, adolescents, and adults including trauma-related disorders, anxiety (e.g., generalised anxiety, specific phobias, social anxiety, panic disorder), mood disorders, children with behavioural issues, and parent-child relationship difficulties.
Hannah has a special interest in child attachment, complex trauma, oppositional behaviour and emotion-regulation difficulties. She utilises a range of evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Somatic Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Attachment-Based interventions.
Hannah has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds in a variety of health settings including not-for-profit organisations, school-based settings, university clinics, psychiatric hospitals, forensic settings and private practice. She also has experience working solely with parents on interventions for social, emotional and behavioural difficulties of young children (under 6 years old). A fundamental aspect of Hannah’s therapeutic philosophy is her belief that individuals are the experts of their own internal experiences. By adopting a collaborative and empowering approach, she strives to work alongside her clients, fostering a sense of agency and actively involving them in the therapeutic process.
Hannah has a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Psychology, Honours (First class) from Macquarie University. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a general psychologist (registration number: PSY0002462431) and is currently undergoing her registrar program in the area of Clinical Psychology. She is also a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA).
