Amy is a fully registered Clinical Psychologist with 15 years of experience in both private practice and as a student counsellor working at tertiary institutions. Throughout this time she has worked with adults from a range of backgrounds with issues including anxiety (general anxiety, phobias, panic and social anxiety), depression, life transitions, insomnia, relationship and communication difficulties, disordered eating, perfectionism and procrastination, stress, emotional regulation difficulties and grief.
Amy uses treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed therapy, and has run workshops teaching mindfulness meditation and life skills such as assertive communication, self-compassion, stress management and resilience.
Amy works to create a safe and supportive environment to help her clients develop self-compassion and resilience while working collaboratively to meet their goals. She is passionate about helping her clients improve both the self-awareness and the skills needed to improve their quality of life, and genuinely enjoys the privilege of working them.
Amy is a registered Medicare provider who holds full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (Reg. No: PSY0001128650) and endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
